Three winners are decided by community voting for their favorites. There will be in-person voting to complete the contest at Short Rest’s booth at Comic Con Revolution in Ontario, CA May 16th. One additional winner will be chosen by Chrig, the owner of Short Rest, as his favorite!

All issues are subject to being released on time according to release schedule on 3/1/2026.

• Print it on a standard 8.5”x11” printer paper. For “Scale” or “Fit,” make sure that the image is “Fit to Page” so the entire image is printed on one single page.

• Hand color the entire image using any medium you want. You can also alter, add, subtract, manipulate, etc. the image and page as long as you follow three simple rules.

  • The only digital lines on the paper allowed are the ones originally printed from the downloaded image. Any altering, coloring, adding, etc. from you must be from your own handiwork, no digital work is allowed in this contest. 18+ artwork is allowed but sensitive/offensive material will be blurred or censored during voting.

  • The printed page acts as the boundary of the artwork. This means that nothing can extend beyond the 8.5”x11” printer paper.

  • Any medium, additions, etc. cannot be bodily fluids from any human or non-human, cannot be hazardous to property or health, cannot decay or rot in any given time period

  • Each entry needs the following contestant information as well:

• Deadline is April 4/30/2026. Entries must be delivered by the deadline date. Being in transit or shipped on deadline date does not count as an entry.

• Online voting occurs from May 4th 5 am PST through May 14th 11:59 pm PST.

• Top 10 entries from on-line voting will be brought to the Short Rest Booth at Comic Con Revolution in Ontario, CA. In-Person voting will occur during show hours on Saturday May 16th. End of business hours May 16th marks the ends of all voting.

  • Any ties will be broken by sudden death during show hours on Sunday May 17th.

• Winners will be contacted and announced by Wednesday May 20th, 2026.

• Winners must respond within two weeks of being contacted or their prize will be forfeited.
